About me

How did this site begin?

The idea for this website came to me in the summer of 2024, after an especially disastrous round of golf. It was one of the worst rounds I’ve had in years, yet I remember it more clearly than most. I recall almost every shot. My drives were solid, but everything else fell apart. I could hit a 245-meter tee shot — only to chunk the next two shots in a row.

Something had to change

After the round, I was in a terrible mood. I snapped at my spouse and probably even started an argument. A few days later, I realized: if a round of golf can leave me feeling like that, maybe I shouldn’t be playing at all. Golf had turned into a performance — and the joy was gone. That had to change.

What’s this site about?

You won’t find swing tips here. But you will find all kinds of things related to golf that have helped me improve my game — and more importantly, enjoy the game again. Sometimes it's the small insights, routines, gear, or mindset shifts that make a big difference.

Who am I?

I’ve been playing golf since I was about 10 years old — sometimes more, sometimes less. I also spent several summers working at a golf shop, selling clubs and gear.

These days, I have a wife and three kids. That doesn’t stop me from golfing — you just need to know when to go.
